2002 MUSTANG GT
Do you want more power? Well you get it with the 2002 Mustang but it is not HP, but with the optional Mach 1000 audio system which pumps out 570 watts RMS and comes with a truck mounted 10 inch subwoofer, addition speakers and amplifiers. Talk about taking away valuable truck space, but if you want sound... you got it!!!
New colours have been added to this model year to included; Satin Silver, Colorado Red and Torch Red, although Silver Metallic and Performance Red have been dropped. The interior remains relatively the same as 2001, but the Mustang Coupes get a new overhead storage net and all Mustang seats have been upgraded to 4 way head restraints. Nudo leather seating surfaces have been added to the option list.
The GT's 4.6 2 value engine continues its 260 horsepower and the Tremec TR3650 manuel 5 speed gets a new fifth gear ratio for improved fuel economy.
